::Opus Hong Kong by Frank Gehry::

"I wanted to make something incredibly beautiful, that people will respect and love for generations" are Frank Gehry's own words regarding Opus Hong Kong, his first major project in Asia. Gehry is redefining "superluxury" with this property which may be the most expensive of the city. I can't wait to see images of the apartments inside the building...and can't help thinking it must be quite a thrill to be overlooking Hong Kong from up there.

::Music:: - Canyons "When I see you again"

Two songs have haunted me this week: the Beatles "Tomorrow never knows" but that's because of the last Mad Men episode, which I think is pure genius; and this Canyons song: "When I see you again". Their whole album is great, with "My rescue" and "See blind through" which I love so much as well.

The so chic and Parisian brand Carven partnered with the champion for hiking and outdoor gear (I mean, every French person from my generation probably had a Lafuma school bag as a kid) and are jointly launching a Winter 2012-2013 backpack collection, that is a revamp of the original 1930 model.

This spring, I would go without a doubt for the Nicholas Kirkwood shoes  for Peter Pilotto. With their beaded flower fronts, florescent plastic heels and bright tones, they're just the perfect accessory I wish I could put in my suitcase for the various weddings I will be attending this summer:)

I took this picture knowing that when I'd be back in NY, I could look at it and remember the peaceful feeling I had sitting on it...It's sort of an emotional stamp.

Empire State of Mind

I chose this title because Jay Z attended the event I was at last night, and performed this one song, which is so emblematic of this city, and captured so much of my dreams and hopes when I was desperately looking into moving to NY...Even if I've heard the song for too many times, it was still quite moving to finally sing it loud in NY, in front of Jay Z himself. 

Arch of birds

We went to San Diego for Thanksgiving last year, and once again I was amazed by the beauty of nature in California, and the variety of birds and sea animals we found there...We went for a walk along the coast, and on our way back to the car, as the day was coming to an end, found this colony of brown pelicans, resting and pampering by the deep blue water.
