::Music:: - Canyons "When I see you again"

Two songs have haunted me this week: the Beatles "Tomorrow never knows" but that's because of the last Mad Men episode, which I think is pure genius; and this Canyons song: "When I see you again". Their whole album is great, with "My rescue" and "See blind through" which I love so much as well.

M.I.A. returns with a new single for her forthcoming album...such a good song, and a reckless artist!

Lana del Rey always perfectly matches a depressed mood...

::Music:: - Metronomy, Ewan Pearson remix

I discovered this remix of "Everything goes my way" by Metronomy from Ewan Pearson, and have already listened to it 4 times in one hour...

::Glass Candy:: - Warm in the winter

7:29 minutes of footage shot by Alberto Rossini during the summer 2011 tour with Chromatics. Can't wait to be back in California in 10 days...

::Art:: - Cartier x Air: Painted Love

Cartier partnered with Air to compose a music for a film produced by Waverly Films on the theme: "how far would you go for love". The film traces the (impossible) encounter between an artist and his muse. Air's longing music has always been appropriate for movies, and as Air says in the behind the scene video "emotional shocks are important to record things that are profound", and love is probably what matters most to them in the creation process.

::Music:: - Summer Camp "Down" video

Summer Camp (Jeremy Warmsley and Elizabeth Sankey) just released a new video for their song Down (album due next week on Moshi Moshi). Director isolated moments and characters during a Halloween party, so you can see in sole movements among a still crowd...with a really nice vintage look to the image.

::Music:: The Do - Slippery Slope

The Do returns with a new single, Slippery Slope. I think that with a new red hair, Olivia Merilahti is somewhat a mix of Emmanuelle Seigner and Muriel Moreno.

::Music:: - Canyons

This is Canyons' last video, directed by Daniel Brereton. I discovered them with the release of "My Rescue", a song which haunted my first New York summer.
